Simply Built furniture is designed to eliminate tools and screws from the assembly process – so you don’t need an engineering degree to put it together.
How strong is Simply Built furniture if it requires no tools or screws?
Simply put: Built like a tank - without the assembly boot camp.
Here's how: Unlike other metal fasteners that can loosen or strip over time, our precision-fit interlocking system locks each panel securely in place, delivering long-term durability you can count on. Every piece is engineered to exceed the US Federal ASTM Safety Standards.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly times vary based on products. Once pieces are unpacked and laid out according to the instructions, all products can be assembled by one person in as little as 10 minutes. Even if you prefer to take your time, you’ll still be fully assembled in around 25 minutes.
Are assembly instructions included in the package?
Yes. Each product comes with several easy-to-follow assembly instructions. (We recommend #1).

Can one person assemble our furniture alone?
Certainly, our furniture is crafted for a simple, one-person setup. But why not grab a friend? It’s faster, and you’ll have someone to blame if things go sideways (which is highly unlikely).

Can I disassemble and reassemble the furniture?
Absolutely. All Simply Built furniture is designed to be disassembled and reassembled numerous times. Whether you're moving, reorganizing, or just switching things up, your furniture is built to go with you.
What should I do if I encounter a problem during assembly?
Don’t sweat it. First, we recommend watching our POV assembly video – it solves most issues fast. You can find all product assembly resources here.

What happens if I break a component during assembly?
If you break a part during assembly, don’t worry! While assembly mishaps aren’t covered under warranty, we’ll cover the cost of the replacement piece - you’ll just cover the shipping. Contact our customer support team at info@simplybuilt.co, and we’ll get your replacement on the way as quickly as possible. We’re here to help make sure your assembly goes smoothly!

Free shipping - the best two words in online shopping.
Right now, we’re shipping exclusively to California addresses. All California orders qualify for free shipping, so you’ll get your furniture faster at no extra cost.
Outside California? We’re going nationwide in October - and yes, shipping will still be free.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We ship fast.
California customers: Your order ships within 1–2 business days of purchase and usually arrives in 1–3 days.
Outside California? We’re launching nationwide in October, with all orders eligible for FREE 2-Day shipping.

After purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your delivery details. Once your order is processed, we’ll send additional emails with your tracking number, estimated delivery time, and ongoing tracking updates.
Please note: our delivery partners may take up to 24 hours to update tracking information after we fulfill your order.
Where do we ship to?
Currently, we’re shipping exclusively to California to keep up with high demand during college move-in season.
Nationwide rollout will ship to the continental U.S. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or P.O. boxes.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
No problem. If you need to change your shipping address, shoot us an email at info@simplybuilt.co as soon as possible. We’ll do everything we can to reroute your order before it ships.
Heads up: Orders ship out of our warehouse within 1–2 business days after purchase.
What happens if my furniture arrives damaged?
We’re sorry your furniture had a rough trip. We thoroughly test all our packaging to ensure your order arrives safely, but sometimes things still go off track.
We’re here to help: please email our support team at info@simplybuilt.co with your order details and photos of the damage. Our team will quickly assist you with a replacement, repair, or return.
What should I do if one or more boxes are missing from my delivery?
We recommend checking your tracking details - your boxes might be arriving separately. We ship your whole order at once, but some items come in multiple boxes and may show up on different days depending on our delivery partners.
If tracking hasn’t updated or your items are missing after a few hours to a day, email info@simplybuilt.co with your order number and we’ll sort it out right away.
What if a component is missing from the delivery box?
We recommend double-check the packaging to ensure it's not hidden or stuck in the folds. If you still can't find the missing part, reach out to us at info@simplybuilt.co with your order number and a description of the missing piece.
We’ll send out the replacement as quickly as possible to ensure you can complete your assembly. We apologize for any inconvenience.
My package was marked as delivered, but I didn't receive it?
- Double-check around your delivery area – porches, side doors, garages, mailrooms, or with neighbors.
- Look for a delivery photo or tracking update – carriers like FedEx and UPS occasionally scan items as delivered early, especially during peak delivery times.
- Email us – if it's still missing after full day, contact us at info@simplybuilt.co with your order number. We'll contact the carrier and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Returns & Warranty
How long does the warranty last?
At Simply Built, we stand by the quality and durability of our furniture. Our warranty covers all products and lasts for 365 days from the date of your purchase.

What is covered under the warranty?
All items sold by Simply Built are covered.
This warranty covers any breakage or defects in materials or workmanship. Any damage must occur while the product is in normal use. The product must be assembled correctly and used for its intended purpose with proper care as outlined on the instruction manual and product "Assembly & Care" page. If you choose to manipulate the original product, our warranty will not cover any damages, and Simply Built will not be held legally responsible.

How do I make a warranty claim?

What should I do if an item arrives damaged?
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@simplybuilt.co with your order number and a photo of the damage. We can send you a replacement part to fix the issue, or if you prefer, we can offer you a discount for a future purchase. We'll work quickly to resolve the issue for you.

What cleaning products are safe to use?
We recommend using a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or products containing ammonia or bleach, as these can damage the finish and materials.
Can I use my products outdoors?
Our products are designed for indoor use only. Using them outdoors or exposing them to constant direct sunlight can cause fading, warping, or other damage - and this is not covered under our warranty. To keep your furniture looking its best, always store and use it indoors.
What should I do if my furniture gets wet or stained?
Our furniture surfaces are spill-resistant, meaning they can handle quick clean-ups — but prolonged moisture can cause swelling, warping, or staining. If a liquid spills, wipe it up immediately with a dry or slightly damp cloth. For tougher messes, use a gentle cleaner like Windex applied to the cloth — never directly on the furniture. Using coasters, placemats, and protective pads will help prolong the life of your furniture.
Note: Do not put any hot items directly on the furniture, as excess heat could cause staining.
